We wish to "seek differencesground while preserving common", and differences and diversity are worthy goals, while protecting the necessary consensus. And human diversity is much more than skin color and gender; it is more importantly a diversity of ideas, cultures and lifestyles, and it includes diversity in the adoption of, or resistance to, various technologies.

Freedom and equality are the most basic consensus of modern civilization, so not all cultures or ways of life are worthy of recognition, and those religious or cultural traditions that promote hatred, uphold privilege, and discriminate against women need to be resisted. We need to reorganize our traditional culture to adapt to modern civilization.

We stay on our own path, but we also embrace the other, especially those with different ideas and opinions. We integrate modern technology, but we also tolerate those who resist it or adopt alternative technologies. We integrate Chinese culture into modern civilization, but we also tolerate Western culture and all other cultures.
